Virginia Tech 77, Seton Hall 56

Providence, RI -- Virginia Tech got 19 points from Ieva Kublina and buried the last place team in the Big East, downing Providence 77-56 for VT's second straight Big East road win. Carrie Mason and Erin Gibson added ten points each as the Hokies shot almost fifty percent (33-67) and turned the ball over just nine times.

VT jumped on Providence early, taking a 41-24 half time lead and coasting to the win in the second half. All twelve Hokies played, with eleven scoring. Virginia Tech is now 19-6 on the season (8-6 Big East). Providence falls to 4-20 (0-13). The Hokies now return home for their last two games, against PIttsburgh (6-18, 2-12) on Saturday, Feb. 28th at 2:30, and against St. John's (9-15, 3-10) on Tuesday, March 2nd at 7 p.m.
