the upcoming weekend's Big East and Top-25 match-ups. All rankings are from
the
Bowl Championship Series Poll. I don't pick winners (that's too easy),
I pick against
the spread.
All picks are for entertainment purposes only. If you actually bet
based on what I think...well...don't say you weren't warned!. For

Last Week: Sooooooooooooooooooooo close!
This Week: Nothing. Well not
nothing, but just about. There's the SEC title game, an upset brewing
in Hawaii, and a CUSA game that the less is said about, the better.
Not in Action: My ability to pick
football.

| To date the BCS has been
fairly lucky. Two undefeateds in '99...OU beat FSU last year
somewhat diminishing Miami's complaints...but if LSU scores the
upset here, it's going to be ugly.
Really though, I expect Tennessee to
make the whole argument moot. LSU is a fine team, but
Tennessee is flying high after FINALLY defeating Florida in the
Swamp. Fullmer is a terrific coach with as much big game
experience as anyone out there. |
