On Thursday, July 27th, 2000, Virginia Tech officials unveiled color concept drawings of Lane Stadium's South End Zone expansion. The drawings were shown at the Richmond Hokie Club's Kickoff Event, and a TechSideline.com reader snapped digital pictures of the drawings and sent them in.

Two notes:

• The design is tentative and is still changing at this point.
• The pictures here are admittedly of poor quality, but again, they were pictures taken of drawings sitting on easels. We think they still show great detail on the expansion concepts.
