Well, That Went About as Well as Expected

As I feared, I'm in Internet limbo. I have configured my computer to connect to my new ISP, U.S. Internet (see yesterday's update for details). The only problem is that they haven't set up my account yet, and in configuring my computer to talk to that non-existent account, I've invalidated my settings to access my old NRVNet account!

Aaaaggghh! I'm in limbo!

Amazingly enough, that hasn't stopped me from updating the Basketball page and posting a new My Opinion piece (there's more than one way to skin a cat). So check those out.

Due to the holidays and my troubles getting connected, I'll be gone for a while. I hope to do another update before the Orange Bowl, but I can't promise anything. So keep your eye on the Roanoke Times and Richmond Times-Dispatch for any late-breaking news. See you later!

One more thing: my mail server is back up, so you can get to me for the rest of the day, until about 5:00. And then I'm outta here!
