The Hokies landed their second commitment of the 2005 recruiting class when DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD) fullback Kenneth Jefferson verbaled to VT. Jefferson, who stands 5-11, weighs 230 pounds and runs a 4.5 forty, committed Saturday during an unofficial visit to VT.

Jefferson chose the Hokies over offers from Penn State and Syracuse. He will have no trouble qualifying academically, as he carries a 3.8 GPA and scored 1230 on the SAT.

Jefferson joins Stone Bridge (Ashburn VA) tight end Ed Wang as commitments for VT's 2005 recruiting class. For more on Jefferson's commitment, see our TSL Pass recruiting update by Chris Horne.
