Ajiboye, rated a 3-star recruit by TSL and a 4-star recruit by Rivals.com, adds depth to an already strong Virginia Tech defensive line recruiting class that also includes 4-star DEs Jason Adjepong and John Graves, plus 3-star DT Daryl Robertson and 3-star DE Mike Gee. Ajiboye's switch came on the heels of a visit to Virginia Tech last weekend and an in-person visit by Frank Beamer and DL Coach Charley Wiles Wednesday. Beamer and Wiles made the trip to see the 6-2, 290 pound Ajiboye in his hometown of College Park, Georgia. Ajiboye is the second recruit in the 2006 class from Georgia, joining safety Mario Edwards. The commitment from Ajiboye takes away the sting of losing DT Budd Thacker, who decommitted from Virginia Tech about a week ago and committed to Florida State, instead. The Hokies currently have 19 players in their 2006 recruiting class, plus WR Todd Nolen, who signed in 2005, prepped at FUMA, and will enroll at Tech in the fall. Chris Horne will have comments from Ajiboye as soon as possible in a TSL Pass recruiting update. Click
