OL Blake DeChristopher Commits to Tech
by Will Stewart, TechSideline.com

Virginia Tech has received a commitment from one of their top offensive line recruits, Blake DeChristopher of Clover Hill High School in Midlothian, Virginia. The 6-5, 290-pound DeChristopher runs a 5.0 forty and projects as an offensive tackle in college.

DeChristopher is ranked the #10 recruit in the state by TechSideline.com and also had offers from Ohio State, Maryland, and Virginia. NC State and North Carolina had entered the picture lately, and the Roanoke Times and Rivals.com report that DeChristopher had offers from them as well, but TechSideline.com has not verified that information yet.

DeChristopher is Tech's third commitment for the 2007 recruiting class, joining Georgia tight end Brandon Barden and Virginia linebacker Quillie Odom. The month of July is expected to be a busy one on the recruiting front for the Hokies, with more commitments to come.

Stay tuned to TSL for more information on DeChristopher's commitment, including quotes from Blake.
