Tyrell Edwards played quarterback and wide receiver last season for Marlboro County High School in Bennettsville, SC. He is the son of former Virginia Tech wide receiver Bo Campbell.

Edwards is expected to play either tight end or defensive end for Virginia Tech. He has always been a Hokie fan.

"It's kind of like a dream," Edwards said. "Growing up I always wanted to go there."
