Corey Marshall Chooses Virginia Tech
by Chris Coleman, TechSideline.com, TSLMail Breaking News, June 22, 2010

Dinwiddie High School (VA) defensive lineman Corey Marshall made his college choice on Tuesday afternoon, selecting Virginia Tech over Virginia, Michigan, Tennessee and West Virginia.  He is Tech's sixth verbal of the 2011 recruiting class, and the second in as many days.

Marshall is a 6-1, 255 defensive lineman and the #5 player in the state of Virginia according to TechSideline.com's most recent in-state rankings.  His teammate, tight end recruit Chris Hall, committed to Virginia Tech on Monday.

Virginia Tech was considered the top choice for Marshall throughout his recruitment.  He grew up a Virginia Tech fan, respects the job that Bud Foster does with the Hokie defense, and appreciates the lack of coaching turnover in Blacksburg.

Stay tuned for more on Marshall's commitment, as well as more coverage on the Virginia Tech 2011 recruiting class.
